Media literacy refers to the medium through which information is delivered. For example, graphics, animation, etc. Choosing the right media for a particular topic, obtaining the proper permission to use it, and selecting the appropriate method of communication.

Media literacy is important because it can be a good aid. Good media literacy can be more effective in getting others to accept and understand.

By receiving different perspectives in PLN, I can improve myself and increase my creativity. In addition, over-seeking facts I think can hinder innovation, in other words, it is also similar to plagiarism.

The open dialogue between media literacy and factual information can be conflicting because of different descriptions. Sometimes media literacy portrays things in an overly embellished and idealized way. The actual factual information is not as idealized as media literacy portrays, so there can be a conflict between the two.

Having a PLN that values media literacy will make others more willing and receptive to understanding. On the other hand, it is also more persuasive. By embellishing and refining media literacy, one’s PLN will also be more credible.
